After a season that started in the balance for the MBU women’s soccer team, with no wins and disagreements even among players, the team pulled together, bonded and ripped off a 10-game winning streak, concluding with a trip to the AMC Championship game.

The MBU Spartans took on the St. Xavier Cougars at the university’s annual Homecoming game Oct. 19. The Spartans’ offense was productive, led by quarterback John Lux, who threw 22 completions for 370 yards and four touchdowns. The Spartans lost their Homecoming game, 45-34. Missouri Baptist University’s 2019 Homecoming proved to be bigger and better than ever as alumni, students, faculty and staff members turned out for a beautiful cool and sunny day in the Quad, with free food, games and the annual football game that followed.

Homecoming Perks Up MBU Students
Missouri Baptist University’s annual Homecoming event brings alumni, students and family members to campus each year, culminating with a football game and, the night before, thePerk [23], a concert in the Muncy Gym that features a local act, MBU talent and plenty of free coffee and food.
