Snowy Landscapes to Warm Your Heart This Winter

A snowstorm and below-freezing temperatures hit many areas of the United States on Jan. 28, 2026, including the St. Louis area. Although many places shut down, and people were forced to stay home, the snowy scenes, both on MBU’s campus and throughout the St. Louis region, provided beauty. Amidst the cold, dark season of winter, beauty could still be found, and the snow brightened up even the gloomiest of days.

AROUND CAMPUS

Footprints in the snow demonstrated that campus was still busy as ever, even while it was snow-covered.

Snowy bushes decorated campus and made MBU a winter wonderland.

The patio behind the CFA building was coated in a layer of snow.

The snowy quad was more beautiful than ever, and it gave students a scenic walk as they moved around campus.

While thePerk was covered in cold snow, hot lattes were being served up inside.

Snow upon lot C added a beautiful sight for commuters to view on their walk to and from their vehicles.

OFF CAMPUS

Footprints could be found in the snowy fields, including near Olde Towne Fenton.

Fenton City Hall stood out against the pure white snow.

A cute little shed in a snowy field made for a “picture perfect” photograph.

Footprints in the snow were evidence of fun times had outside.

This cat seemed to be uncomfortable with the cold snow against her paws. Maybe she preferred being indoors.
