MBU Managed to Offer Fun and Games, Even During a Pandemic

As we continue pulling out of COVID-19, we look back and note that many universities across the United States chose different paths to deal with the pandemic. With other schools closing down, or canceling on-campus activities, Missouri Baptist University made every effort to give students some kind of normalcy during those troubling times. Service Day Encourages Servant Hearts at MBU

MBU’s Service Day is dedicated to bringing together faculty, staff and students to demonstrate the grace and mercy of Christ by serving others. The MBU community had the opportunity to package meals for Meals for a Million to feed families in need throughout Missouri, stuff bears for hospitalized children with Sharing Smiles and donate their lightly used shoes to the less fortunate in Haiti.

Striving to Serve

As of fall 2018, MBU has implemented service days to take place each semester, during which students and staff can partake in service activities while also enjoying free food, yard games and live music.

Year’s First Spartan Preview Day Draws Nice Crowd

The small size of Missouri Baptist University allows for special events for prospective students. The university staff wants every prospective student to feel at home when they visit MBU. This day allows students to talk with professors, tour campus and residential halls, and see what MBU has to offer.

The Seventh Annual Health and Wellness Fair

This year the Career Services office held the seventh annual Health and Wellness Fair. It featured 36 vendors, including Thrive St. Louis, Chick-fil-A and MBU’s very own Fitness Center.
