MBU has attracted students from across the United States to its campus. From bonding with friends at “Up All Night” to cheering at volleyball games, MBU students have created a strong community, with friendships sure to last a lifetime.

MBU Students Getting “Grounded” on Friday Nights

A new student-led ministry called Grounded formed this semester, which focuses on how MBU students can root themselves in the love of Christ and share the Gospel with the MBU community. Meeting each Friday night, the ministry challenges students to represent Christ regardless of their situations in life.

Listening to the Lord, Leading by Example

When Ethan Metzler graduated in spring 2019, he believed his time at MBU was over. However, when the position of resident director at Pillsbury-Huff Residence Hall became available, he felt the Lord call him to lead the building of young men he was a peer with just one semester before. Regardless of the position change, Metzler continues to deeply and meaningfully connect with everyone he is around at MBU, pointing to Christ through his actions.

MBU Community Strengthening Bond While Social Distancing

Specific aspects of college life like enrollment and group relationships are uncertain in this time of social distancing brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, and though it seems dark, there is light ahead. Despite what may be to come, a large group of friends at MBU is making the best of a bad situation and growing closer while remaining apart.

The average coffee shop meets the average student’s needs, but Toasted Coffee House exceeds them. With its pleasant atmosphere and fairly inexpensive beverages, this one-of-a-kind coffee house is a necessary visit.
