Beautiful Nature Sights of St. Louis (Shot on iPhone)

All throughout St. Louis are hidden gems of beauty, you just need the adventure enough to find and capture them. With our current winter behaving more like fall or spring, now is the perfect time to venture out, get some fresh air and snap a few creative photos. Here are some of the most beautiful nature spots in St. Louis, all captured on an iPhone.

Faces of the Great Outdoors

With the cool fall weather in the air, many students are spending time in the great outdoors. Students at Missouri Baptist University are busy competing in fall sports and enjoying fellowship with other students as we emerge from a pandemic that kept us hidden behind face coverings for more than a year. MBU photojournalists Patrick Griffey and Autumn Heaton captured the faces of MBU Outdoors, Spartan football and Spartan cheer that we have missed while they were hidden under face masks.

Lone Elk Park, a Hidden Gem

Lone Elk Park, covering 546 acres of land and open every day from 8 a.m. to sunset, is a wildlife management area and county park located in Valley Park, Missouri. Home to bison, wild turkey, elk and deer, Lone Elk features up-close animal viewing and several walking trails. Photos by Stacy Rohan.
