Clementine’s is a local ice cream shop, specializing in “Naughty or Nice” ice cream and is open for to-go orders all year round. Although it isn’t the cheapest option when purchasing an ice cream treat, there are several delicious options that set this shop apart and make it a go-to place when craving quality sweets for all ages.
A Team of Champions – MBU Women’s Volleyball

The 2020 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Champions end the regular season with a 24-2 record. After the winning season, four players earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors this week: Giovanna Tapigliani, Isidora Stojovic, Manuela Vargas and Ariana Macies. As the Spartans open the first round of this season’s National Championship games, MBU photojournalists captured some victorious memories for the defending champions.
All Out, All Game, All Season – MBU Soccer
Soccer is a beloved fall sport at Missouri Baptist University. The Spartans ended the 2021 season with a 6-8-3 record. During the season, the Spartans won notable awards: Brandon Burton won AMC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 20, Louie Perez won Spartan Athlete of the Week on Oct. 4, and Nathan Brock won AMC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 18. Just before the season came to a close, MBU photojournalists took to the field to capture the action and heart of Spartan soccer.
Faces of thePerk
Isn’t it great to see faces again this semester? Smiling faces, angry faces, laughing faces, stressed-out faces, praying faces … just seeing faces on campus is such a positive aspect of this current semester. ThePerk is one of students’ favorite locations on the MBU campus. In the fall of 2020, everyone at MBU wore masks because of the pandemic.
