Students Remain Vigilant After a Full Year of Wearing Face Masks
Believe it or not, there once was a time when you would walk into the Perk or SRC or Mabee Great Hall and see your friends and classmates smiling and laughing, and you could actually see their faces. What a difference a year makes. Those times will certainly return, but in the meantime how are students at Missouri Baptist University coping with the requirement to continue wearing masks after the mandate has been in place for the better part of a full year now?
Why I Watch Presidential Debates and You Should Too
Since I have become an adult and began immersing myself in politics, I have heard many comments from people who do not have opinions or simply choose not to vote because of their lack of knowledge in political candidates and topics. Thankfully due to our technologically advanced world, we are able to watch televised debates to better shape our opinions, educate Americans to prepare for elections and proudly cease excuses of political ignorance.
Ghosts, Ghouls and Glowsticks
In the spirit of Halloween, Photojournalism students experimented with exposure, long shutter speeds, glow sticks, fire and Halloween masks in our blacked-out studio. We adjusted our camera settings, set up tripods and created light effects around festive props to produce some amazingly spooky effects.
