Missouri Baptist University celebrated its Homecoming Week roughly midway through the fall semester. To finish off the week, MBU faced off against St. Ambrose University for MBU’s third-ever Homecoming football game.

A Song About Torture? No Thanks

In the song, “Sucker for Pain,” there are five artists featured, rapping and singing. These artists are Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, Wiz Khalifa and Logic. This song is a part of the album, “Suicide Squad,” which is also the title of a recent movie released in August. There is a strange and scary tune to this song that gave me an aversion to it from the moment I heard it. The idea that comes to mind when it comes on is, “Time to change the station.”

MBU Women’s Lacrosse Team Gives a Helping Hand

The MBU women’s lacrosse team took time to give a helping hand with Spensa, Special Needs Soccer Association, at Soccer Park on the morning of Oct. 1. The lacrosse team paired up with buddies and helped the kids in learning soccer drills, play a soccer game, be there for them and just have fun.
