Spartan Football Opens 2015 Season Against Bethel

Quarterback Jordan Norwine looks for an open receiver during the first home football game of the 2015 season. MBU lost to Bethel, 48-7, on Saturday, Aug. 26. The Spartans have a bye week and will return to action next Saturday, Sept. 12, at Siena Heights University in Michigan. Their next home game will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, against Taylor University, at the Westminster Christian Academy stadium. Resident Life held its second annual Block Party in Spartan Village Aug. 14. There were over 130 on-campus residents and commuter students who came out to enjoy a night of lawn games, hot dogs and community.

MBU Baseball vs. Freed-Hardeman University

The MBU Spartans baseball team hosted a blue-out event Friday, April 17, where fans were encouraged to bring couches to receive free food. Many were in attendance and the Spartans split the double-header with the Freed-Hardeman University Lions.

Education Fair Connects Prospects to their Future

Missouri Baptist University’s annual Education Fair Tuesday, Feb. 10, in the Sports and Recreation Complex, helped education majors and graduates begin to make connections with representatives from area school districts. The afternoon involved meet-and-greets, resume reviews and even informal interviews.
