Vacation Bible School is a week-long summer program that allows children of all backgrounds to have the opportunity to gather together, have fun, and learn about Jesus. Though the concept sounds like something that would mainly have influence over children, being involved in the program presents a unique opportunity for all ages to grow their faiths and be encouraged by one another.

The Face of Spartan Athletics

With integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership, Missouri Baptist University’s cheer and dance teams are flying to new heights and making history. One of the teams, co-ed cheer, qualified last season for the NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championships in Michigan. The STUNT team also qualified for nationals, which was hosted by MBU.

Two Missouri Baptist University women’s track athletes, Mia Reed and Emily Bayer, qualified to run in the prestigious NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Nationals, where they are running today in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Both runners met the “A” standard for their events, including the daunting steeplechase.

MBU Softball Team Includes Sun, Fun and Games

The Missouri Baptist University softball team traveled to Florida over Spring Break this year, after their annual trip was canceled last year due to COVID. They were excited about returning to the sun of the South and the trip prepared them for conference play as they currently head into the AMC tournament.

March Madness: MBU Men’s Basketball Team is Louisiana Bound

The Missouri Baptist University men’s basketball team has been dominating competitors all season long as they travel to Louisiana to begin the NAIA Basketball National Championship. According to head coach Preston Ingram, a victory against Louisiana State University Shreveport is possible but will require massive amounts of focus, discipline and determination.

MBU Men’s Cross Country Team Runs to New Heights

Led by Donovan Denslow, Missouri Baptist University’s men’s cross country team raced to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships for the first time in 15 years. Although this competition is now in the past, the Spartans finished their season strong and bring unprecedented confidence into the current track season.

With Super Bowl Sunday just around the corner, Missouri Baptist University’s students, staff and faculty share what their plans are for this year’s Super Bowl and reminisce on how the game of football has touched their lives. And don’t forget, a Super Bowl party will be held Sunday, Feb. 13, in the Dining Hall. Kickoff is 5:30 p.m.
