A Great Turnout for MBU’s 2023 Dodgeball Tournament

Missouri Baptist University’s students frequently engage in activities around MBU’s campus. One activity, in particular, is dodgeball. This spring semester brought together current students, alumni and staff to compete in a dodgeball tournament with many rounds.
A Team of Champions – MBU Women’s Volleyball

The 2020 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Champions end the regular season with a 24-2 record. After the winning season, four players earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors this week: Giovanna Tapigliani, Isidora Stojovic, Manuela Vargas and Ariana Macies. As the Spartans open the first round of this season’s National Championship games, MBU photojournalists captured some victorious memories for the defending champions.
A Day That Forever Changed our Perception of School Safety
April 20, 2019, marks the 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School mass shooting, which was ranked the worst school shooting in U.S. history until the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on Feb. 4, 2018, and was one of the deadliest episodes of school violence. Today’s story is the first in an 8-story series, and we are posting it at 12:19 p.m. local time (11:19 a.m. Mountain Time), which is exactly when two Colorado students walked into their high school two decades ago and began a killing spree that left 13 dead, before killing themselves, permanently altering our sense of security in schools.

Mercy Hospital Blood Drive
A steady flow of MBU students and staff members showed up to save lives by donating blood during the Mercy Hospital Blood Drive on Thursday, Aug. 31.
Third Annual Lip Sync Battle
The hilarious battle, hosted by Circle K International, took place Thursday, March 30, in the SRC. The event featured lip sync acts by several individuals and groups, some even included choreographed dances. Candy, decorations and Raising Cane’s Chicken were there for attendees to enjoy. Even though the event was a great time, it wasn’t all about fun. Proceeds from the annual event went to support African Vision of Hope’s House of Hope, an organization that helps build dormitories and funds young women for school in Zambia, Africa.
Yoga Finds Balance at MBU
MBU students can utilize free yoga classes in the SRC, serving as a great stress reliever and fitness option.
AMP Late Night Dodgeball Hits Home With Students
MBU students participated in AMP’s Late Night Dodgeball Tournament earlier this fall in the SRC. The event builds camaraderie among students and those involved in AMP student ministries
MBU Hangouts
Missouri Baptist University might be a small campus, but do not worry students will still find areas that are tucked away where they can have down time after going from class to class. Or places to hang with friends and areas to study inside and outside on campus at MBU.
MBU Athletic Training Department Sees New Growth
