Service Day Brings Out the Best of MBU Students, Faculty

MBU’s Service Day encourages giving back to others and helping those who are less fortunate or need to be touched with the love of Christ. The MBU community had the opportunity to spread joy to children in hospitals with Sharing Smiles and express their appreciation for those who served in the military with Operation Gratitude, all while having fellowship with each other.

Striving to Serve

As of fall 2018, MBU has implemented service days to take place each semester, during which students and staff can partake in service activities while also enjoying free food, yard games and live music.

Student Activities Events Continue as Spring Begins

Since the start of the semester, MBU Student Activities has hosted a variety of events, including the Welcome Back BBQ and a Spring Break trip, and there are even more to come, with plenty going on this week.

Year’s First Spartan Preview Day Draws Nice Crowd

The small size of Missouri Baptist University allows for special events for prospective students. The university staff wants every prospective student to feel at home when they visit MBU. This day allows students to talk with professors, tour campus and residential halls, and see what MBU has to offer.

Lip Sync for Hope

Come out for the third annual lip sync battle at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the Perk, hosted by Circle K International. Tailgate Tradition Continues to Grow at MBU

Student Activities, along with the Athletics Department and Cheer Program, puts together a tailgate before each home football game. The tradition will continue this weekend for Homecoming. Tailgating begins at noon Saturday and the game begins at 2 p.m. These are pictures from the game on Sept. 17 against the University of Saint Francis.

University Dedicates New Football Facility

Missouri Baptist is excited to now have its own football field and facility. With plans to continue construction and add a track in the near future all students, faculty and staff were eager to come together and participate in the dedication of this new addition on campus.
